Hilary is an artist living in rural Aberdeenshire. Her finely executed still life works, focusing mainly on silver and pewter accompanied by fruits, cheese and nuts, are highly collectable and she exhibits in selected galleries across the country including in London.
She says of her work: "I love painting still life using the vibrant colours of fruit and their reflections within silver, copper and pewter. I also paint game birds, eggs and feathers, and old books, parchment and globes. My work is done in oils on a fine linen surface. Over time I have distilled my work down to what you now see on this website - small, still life portraits influenced by the old Dutch masters and some exceptional modern day still life painters."
