Dianne Gardner is a Scottish artist based in Ayrshire. Her gorgously loose and atmospheric works cover everything from still life subjects to landscapes, but are immediately recognisable as her work.
Dianne has been an artist member of Ayr Sketch club since 2009. She has always painted but began to work more seriously after her retirement from a career in Educational Management. She works mainly in Acrylics and mixed media favouring landscape and still life.Within her work she seeks to evoke the essence of her subject rather than making a photographic image. She is an elected artist member of The Glasgow Society of Woman Artists. In 2010 she won The Miller Art Prize at the North Ayrshire Open Art Exhibition.
