Aine Divine RSW is an award winning artist, widely known for her beautiful, confident watercolour portraits. She recently competed in the Sky Arts Portrait Painter of the Year programme, two seasons in a row.
We are also proud and thrilled to have her as a tutor at The Edinburgh Drawing School.
Aine has recently been elected to the RSW - huge congratulations to her!
Originally form Co. Cork, she graduated in 1991 from Crawford College of Art & Design, and in 1995 gained a Higher Diploma in art teaching. Her paintings have been shortlisted for, and won, many awards over the years, including three years in a row shortlisted for the Irish National Portrait Awards (she also won it in 1993) and recently was a finalist in the Sky Portrait Artist of the Year awards. Her work has been selected by the Royal Society of Watercolour Painters, and she has featured in numerous painting magazines, demonstrations and exhibitons - often painting well know figures of public and sporting life, including the late Dr. Mo Mowlam, and Olympic triple jumper, Jonathan Edwards.
